ABOUT
L’Amandier is a fusion of traditional French recipes and modern flavors that represent a love of the South of France.
Owner Raihana Sidik attended The Awty International School in Houston, Texas before graduating in 2004 with her International Baccalaureate. She left to pursue her dream of living in France, with a first stop in Strasbourg before settling in Paris. She received her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Marketing, Business and Communications and worked for various publications such as Vogue, Glamour and Vanity Fair.
She moved from Paris to Los Angeles before settling in Austin, Texas in 2019.
Raihana has always been an avid cook and baker and launched her almond cakes during the COVID pandemic in 2020, which jumpstarted her success.
She launched her brand, L’Amandier, in the summer of 2024 inspired by the colors and taste of the South of France.
L’Amandier’s traditional French recipes emphasize ingredients like rich butter, fine flour, farmed-raised eggs, organic, non-gmo Akoma chocolate from West Africa and natural spices. Our pastries are inspired by traditional French recipes; recipes that are family favorites from childhood across multiple generations.
